2022 - 'Lykia to Constantinople Tour'
10 - Day itinerary

Day 1
Sunday

Fethiye

Welcome to Fethiye! Make your way to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day in this popular touristic town.

Day 2
Monday

Fethiye

It's your free day in Fethiye today to enjoy swimming in Oludeniz or Calis Beach, explore the downtown Fethiye, or join an optional trip to Saklikent Gorge.

Day 3
Tuesday

Kayakoy, Antalya

We leave our hotel in Fethiye to visit Kayakoy after breakfast where you'll have the opportunity to take stunning photos of the deserted Greek village. Our next stop is Antalya where we'll spend the night in. But before checking in the hotel, we will take a walking tour of the old town area of Antalya, also known as "Kaleiçi". Hadrian's Gate, the Ancient Harbour and Suna-Inan Kiraç Kaleiçi Museum with a Greek Orthdox Church in its garden are the other highlights of today.

Day 4
Wednesday

Perge, Aspendos, Side

Today we'll marvel at Perge and Aspendos and Side, the three famous ancient cities in this region. Aspendos is known for its Roman Theatre built in the 2nd century with a seating capacity of 15,000 people. Side is one of the best classical sites in Turkey with its Temple of Apollo and ancient ruins.

Day 5
Thursday

Konya

We leave our hotel in Antalya today to drive to Konya where we will visit the mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi and Mevlana museum.

Day 6
Friday

Konya, Cappadocia

After breakfast today's first stop is Sultanhani Caravansary on the ancient Silk Road. Then we'll drive to Cappadocia and as we arrive we will visit Pigeon and Red Valley, Cavusin village and lastly Avanos town where we will learn about hand-made pottery.

Day 7
Saturday

Cappadocia, Goreme, Underground City

Today we'll visit one of the most famous underground cities in Cappadocia, as well as the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum and the fairy chimneys.

Day 8
Sunday

Ankara

An early departure today to head to Ankara, the capital of Turkey, where we'll visit Anitkabir, mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of Turkish Republic, before returning to Istanbul.

Day 9
Monday

Istanbul Old City

Just a day before ending this tour, we'll crown it with visiting the Blue Mosque, St Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace (including Hagia Irene) and the Hippodrome, which are the most popular attractions in Istanbul.
Then in the afternoon you may choose to join our optional 'Half day Bosphorus cruise' to view the magnificent mansions lining up on the shores of both continents, Europe and Asia.

Tuesday

Istanbul

After breakfast our tour concludes you will are transferred to the airport.

Please Note :
1. Group Size : Minimum Group Size of 2. Maximum Group Size of 20.
2. Age : Minimum Age of 8. Whilst there is no Maximum Age set it is assumed the customer is fit enough to take part in the activity or tour. Health documents may be requested.
3. Single travellers are obliged to pay Single Supplement and will have the hotel room to themselves.
4. Domestic flight times may vary due to various circumstances
5. You will need to have your passport handy at check-in for any domestic flights
6. Instead of travelling between Cappadocia and Istanbul by bus, an optional morning flight from Kayseri (Cappadocia) to Istanbul is available at extra cost.  Please contact with us for a quote.
