This 10 day tour, starts from Istanbul, Turkey, and ends at Cappadocia, Turkey.

10 - Day itinerary

Day 1
 

Welcome to Istanbul

Welcome to Istanbul! You will be transferred to your hotel and the remainder of the day is yours free to explore at your own pace.

Day 2
 

Istanbul Old City

Visit the most important popular sites of Istanbul in one full day tour. St Sophia Museum, the Byzantine Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace (including Hagia Irene) and the Grand Bazaar.

Day 3
 

Gallipoli Battlefields

Early morning departure for the Gallipoli Peninsula, one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey. Here we will visit the WW1 Battlefields of Gallipoli including the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly, The Nek and original trenches and tunnels.

Day 4
 

Troy, Acropolis of Pergamum

This morning, step back in time as we visit Troy where we will explore the ancient city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the new, award winning, Troy Museum. We continue on to the magnificent acropolis of Pergamon. Its impressive temples and library made it a renowned cultural and political centre in its time.

Day 5
 

Ephesus Kusadasi

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of the ancient city of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. We also visit the site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will also have the chance to learn about some Turkish handicrafts and to visit the former Greek village of Sirince, located on the top of a mountain and famous for its fruit wines and tastings.

Day 6
 

Pamukkale

This morning we drive approximately 3 hours to Pamukkale, home of the magnificent white calcium terraces known as the travertines. We will tour the ancient city of Hierapolis, and you can take a dip amongst ancient columns in the hot springs that have been used since ancient times for their therapeutic powers. Drive back to Kusadasi.

Day 7
 

Kusadasi to Cappadocia

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival at Kayseri airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia. The remainder of the day is yours, free to explore.

Day 8
 

North Cappadocia

Our first stop is Esentepe, followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle. We then visit Goreme Open Air Museum and Ortahisar Castle. Afterwards we visit the fairy chimneys of Pasabag follwed by Devrent Valley.

Day 9
 

South Cappadocia

This morning we head to Pigeon Valley and then Red Valley. After visiting some cave churches we head to one of the area's undergound cities. Afterwards we visit Cavusin village and finally the town of Avanos where we learn about hand-made pottery.

Day 10
 

Cappadocia

After breakfast your tour concludes with a transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your outbound flight.

Please Note :
1. Group Size : Minimum Group Size of 1. Maximum Group Size of 20.
2. Age : Minimum Age of 0. Whilst there is no Maximum Age set it is assumed the customer is fit enough to take part in the activity or tour. Health documents may be requested.
3. Single travellers are obliged to pay Single Supplement and will have the hotel room to themselves.
4. This tour is available on any day. Be aware that some sites are closed on some days.
- Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and is replaced by the Basilica Underground Cistern.
- Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays and is replaced by the Spice Bazaar.
- St. Sophia Museum is closed on Mondays and replaced with St. Chora.
5. From 2024 onwards this tour will also include a visit to the new, award winning, Troy Museum while we are at Troy
6. Domestic flight times may vary due to various circumstances
7. You will need to have your passport handy at check-in for any domestic flights
8. Though all hotels include breakfast, other meal inclusions depend on your requirements. We can book a hotel to include breakfast and dinner (Half Board HB), we can book a hotel to include breakfast, lunch and dinner (Full Board FB). Its completely up to you
9. Due to unforeseen circumstances it has become necessary to remove the visit to the house of the Virgin Mary from this tour.
