This 8 day Gulet cruise starts and ends in Marmaris, Turkey. Islands, Secluded bays, swimming, sunbaking and relaxing is what Gulet cruises are mainly about. This cruise makes its way to the Greek island of Rhodes and back to Marmaris in Turkey again. All meals are included too !
Boarding starts at 15:30 from Marmaris Harbour. On the first day, our boat will remain anchored in Marmaris Port for dinner and an overnight stay.
We will depart after the breakfast for Arap Island. Lunch will be served at the bay of Arap Island. Then we will cruise to Bozukkale. There are magnificent views to be seen on the hike up to the almost intact ancient castle.
Today, we sail for Bozburun. Bozburun is a small fishing town. This area was popular and suitable for sponge-diving but nowadays the people of the island are no longer interested in sponge-diving as it is not financially beneficial and is dangerous. In the recent years sponge-diving has been replaced by gulet tourism.
Depart for Bencik Bay. After a short uphill walk view the spectacular panorama of Gokova Bay and Hisaronu Bay at the top. After lunch we sail to Datca. Datca is a charming, small harbour town that dates back to the Dorian times and it is the nearest place to the ancient city of Knidos.
We will cruise to Symi early in the morning. Symi is a typical Greek Island with its old homes painted in pastel colours and its harbour that resembles an amphitheatre and is pretty as picture.
A lazy breakfast in the view of the idyllic fisherman port of Symi before we cruise to the third largest Greek Island Rhodes in the early afternoon. During our stay in Rhodes you are free to explore the island, the old town and the fortress and enjoy the nightlife.
After customs formalities are completed in Rhodes we sail back to Marmaris. The yacht will remain anchored in Marmaris harbour for the last night. .
The guests will leave the boat with precious memories by 10:30 after breakfast.
