Welcome to Istanbul! You will be transferred to your hotel and the remainder of the day is yours, free to explore Istanbul. Overnight Istanbul

Istanbul Old City 

Tour the exotic city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica underground cistern and the Hippodrome. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner with the rest of your group. Overnight Istanbul (B, L, D)

Bursa, Kutahya

After breakfast, we head inland towards Mt Uludag and Bursa. Today we visit the Green Ottoman complex, the Great Mosque and the ancient silk bazaar before continuing onto the city of Kutahya. Overnight Kutahya (B)

Aizanoi, Fethiye 

Today we continue south, stopping along the way to visit the ruins of the ancient city of Aizanoi, before driving through the picturesque lake region of Turkey and onwards to the Mediterranean coast. Overnight Fethiye (B)

Koycegiz, Marmaris 

This morning we drive towards the lakeside town of Koycegiz, where we join a day cruise to visit turtle beach and the mud baths. Late afternoon we continue on towards the resort town of Marmaris. Overnight Marmaris (B, L, D)

Pamukkale, Hierapolis

Today we tour the magnificent white calcium formations of Pamukkale, followed by the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers before continuing to Kusadasi. Overnight Kusadasi (B, D)

Ephesus, Kusadasi 

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Overnight Kusadasi (B, D)

Pergamum, Troy, Canakkale   

This morning we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods before driving along the Aegean coast to the ancient city of Pergamum, where we visit the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamum with its impressive temples and library that made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. We then continue north to tour the legendary city of Troy. Overnight Canakkale (B, L, D)

Gallipoli Battlefields 

After breakfast, we visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, Anzac Cove, Johnston's Jolly and Gallipoli Museum, before returning to Istanbul. Overnight Istanbul (B, L)

Istanbul

After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends before being transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
