Absorb yourself in history today with an afternoon walk to all the sites of Greco-Roman Athens. Explore the ancient agora, neoclassical architecture, the Roman Stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Athena Parthenos, the patron Goddess of Athens. Overnight Athens. (B)
Day 2
Thursday
Athens to Santorini
Early morning departure for the breathtaking Island of Santorini. Soak up the sun today and relax on the beach or perhaps explore the picturesque capital, Fira. Overnight Santorini. (B)
Take an optional boat trip in the world's biggest volcanic crater above sea level. Visit the active volcano, swim in the warm thermal waters and take a therapeutic mud bath. Overnight Santorini. (B)
Day 4
Saturday
Santorini to Mykonos
Arrive in Mykonos and explore the white-washed town or head for the beach before experiencing the completely outrageous Mykonian nightlife. Overnight Mykonos. (B)
Day 5
Sunday
Mykonos, Delos
Spend another day on the beach or take an optional day trip to the neighbouring island of Delos. This Mecca of Ancient Greece is today an island wide, open-air museum. Overnight Mykonos. (B)
Day 6
Monday
Mykonos, Samos
Another day on the beach in paradise before we catch an overnight ferry to Samos (depending on ferry schedules). (B)
Day 7
Tuesday
Samos to Kusadasi
Today, we make our way to Turkey with free time to explore Samos town or Kusadasi. Overnight Kusadasi. (B,D)
Day 8
Wednesday
Ephesus, Kusadasi
Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus. Walk down Marble Road towards the Celsus Library and Grand Theatre. We also visit the Leather goods display. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy. Overnight Kusadasi. (B,D)
Tour ends after breakfast and we say goodbye to our new friends. (B)
