Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet your guide and the rest of your group. Overnight Istanbul

Istanbul old city

After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and today we also have the chance to learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Tonight you get to know your travelling companions a little better and enjoy some Turkish cuisine at your welcome dinner. Overnight Istanbul (B, L, D)

Gallipoli Battlefields

Depart for the Gallipoli peninsula early morning and tour this now serene site. Visit Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and ANZAC Cove if accessible before a short ferry ride across the Dardanelles. Overnight Canakkale (B, L, D)

Troy, Gallipoli Cruise

This morning we visit the archaeological ruins of Troy before an afternoon cruise from Kabatepe harbour along the shores of the Gallipoli peninsula and a late afternoon barbeque. We then return to our hotel to relax prior to a late evening departure for ANZAC Cove. Overnight Canakkale (B, L, D)

ANZAC Day at Gallipoli

At the ANZAC Dawn Service we will commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day. We also attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services before returning to our hotel for some well deserved rest. Overnight Canakkale (B, D)

Istanbul, Bosphorous Cruise

Today we have a late morning departure back to Istanbul. This afternoon you will experience Istanbul with a waterfront view on an afternoon cruise of the Bosphorous. Overnight Istanbul (B)
