Friday 22nd April
Welcome to Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet your guide and the rest of your group.

Saturday 23rd April
Istanbul old city
After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya and the Hippodrome. Late afternoon we drive west along the Sea of Marmara towards the Gallipoli peninsula.

Day 3
Sunday 24th April
Gallipoli Cruise & Battlefields
This morning we will cruise from Kabatepe harbour along the shores of the Gallipoli peninsula followed by a barbeque lunch before we tour the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli visiting Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and ANZAC Cove if accessible. Early evening we return to our hotel to relax before a late evening departure for ANZAC Cove.

Monday 25th April
ANZAC Day at Gallipoli
At the ANZAC Dawn Service we will commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day. We also attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services before returning to our hotel for some well deserved rest.

Day 5
Tuesday 26th April
Troy, Pergamum
Today we head south to the resort town of Kusadasi, on the way we enjoy a guided tour of the ancient site of Troy and the magnificent acropolis of the ancient city of Pergamum.

Day 6
Wednesday 27th April
Ephesus, Sirince
Absorb yourself in history today with a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis and a guided tour of the ancient city and stadium of Ephesus, before an afternoon visit to the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for its fruit wines. We finish the day with a leather goods presentation. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy.

Thursday 28th April
Pamukkale, Hierapolis
Today we drive east for the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castles), where we also visit the ruined city of Hierapolis, an ancient resort town just above the calcium terraces.

Day 8
Friday 29th April
Saklikent Gorge, Fethiye
Heading south to the Mediterranean coast, we stop at the breath-taking Saklikent Gorge. Here you can tube down the river and explore the awesome canyon. Today, we also visit a carpet village and learn how carpets are made by hand, what determines their value and their historical and cultural background.

Saturday 30th April
Fethiye boat cruise
Today we relax on a leisurely boat cruise around the picturesque 12 islands of Fethiye.

Sunday 1st May
Termessos, Antalya
En-route to Antalya you visit the ancient Lykian city of Termessos which was built at a height of 1050 meters in the beautiful Taurus Mountain range.

Monday 2nd May
Silk Road, Konya,
Leaving the Mediterranean coast we follow an ancient Silk Road that once connected Europe and Asia. In Konya you visit the Mevlana Dervish Museum before continuing onto Cappadocia via Sultanhani Caravansary.

Tuesday 3rd May
Goreme, Uchisar Castle
Marvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia through Goreme Valley, the fairy chimneys, Uchisar castle and more. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening!

Day 13
Wednesday 4th May
Ihlara Valley, Underground City
Today we trek the wildly beautiful Ihlara valley and explore the many levels of an underground city.

Day 14
Thursday 5th May
Nation's Capital Ankara
Leaving the surreal landscape of Cappadocia behind, we head for the nation's capital, Ankara to visit the Mausoleum of Turkey's first President, Ataturk, before continuing back to Istanbul.

Friday 6th May
Istanbul
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends.
