During the tour, our resident Australian, Dean Hunter, will give a presentation on ANZAC Day. He will advise on preparation, run through the day itself whilst weaving in a little history.
Dean believes that "the more you know about the day before you go, the greater your appreciation and so enjoyment of the day will be."
Dean lived in Canakkale, near the Gallipoli battlefields, for 5 years and has lived in Istanbul for the past 11 years. During his time, at Gallipoli, he became a keen Gallipoli enthusiast and during his time in Turkey has become a wealth of knowledge.
